ptcl internet services are consider most reliable services in pakistan so to have quality services try to aware about New upgrades of ptcl Changes.
if you are using wifi modem or non-wifi modem and you want to resolve it. login to admin
enter admin user and admin password and enter it.
there are many of options and methods to resolve this issue.
Login in the modem console panel and follow steps.
- login in the admin page
- click on advance Setting/ some modems having WAN
- Click on wan
- Remove all connection and create one again
- port vpi/vci 0/8/80 select these setting
- Save and Restart
- all setting remain same in other options

My username of automatically gets changed, indeed whole Modem settings get changed.
Extremely frequent Internet disconnections
If we click device info-> statistics-> ADSL there is some info there. Today instead of ADSL xDSL was written.
Once I connected to wifi through my, say, abc password. I opened 192.168.1.1 viewd wireless profile and password . . password was something else.. not mine and still i was connected through wifi.
Sometime i turn Router on and it gets Red Internet light .

ReplyDeleteyou have been hacked buddy.changed the password of your wireless router and Ptcl Dsl router.
My internet light is f**king off from three days.i reconfiger my dsl router but in vain.not getting any gateway or dns server from ptcl side.In sys log.its says ppp server is found and up.connection established. Authentication of username and password failed.but username and password of dsl is correct and i never changed it. I filed a complaint.but still no contact from ptcl duchebags
