Social media is widely used in Pakistan. It is therefore normal that people react over sudden shutdown of internet service. Normally people use more than 2 hours to social media services. But when it comes to see shutdown in service people extremely disturb that why internet service are down in Pakistan.
Pakistan Tehreek insaaf claims that internet services are shutdown just because of their election compign. While PTA claimed that internet services are distributed due to maintenance of web management services. The Care taker Government is currently working to upgrade web management services as soon as possible but it still can take more then 3 months. Therefore such claims from a political party is technically not valid. (Source of PTA).
